Hi <<First Name>>,

Albert Einstein once said, "We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams."

In the last 12 years of teaching movement to the outreach population, we have been accessing emotions that people did not know how to express. A counselor in the Dublin Correctional Facility witnessed one of our classes and said,
"The inmate expressed more emotions in the movement class than she has in our six months of counseling work together.”
Our work is not just to help people express their emotions but also to transform them.

In my upcoming intensive Outreach Facilitator 4-day training in August, we'll explore how dance and movement can be used as a powerful resource and tool in working with specific outreach populations (i.e., in jails, recovery centers, hospitals, elder care facilities, and schools).

This work is a dynamic movement practice of being in the body that can catalyze deep healing, connection, and creative expression.

During this training, we will begin in our own bodies. You will then learn movement exercises, and how to support body movement and energetic attunement with others.
We’ll practice regulating and re-grounding ourselves while leading a group, integrating voice with authentic movement, and exploring confident leadership.

We’ll also discuss specific outreach populations and the challenge of bringing movement classes to groups resistant to or less comfortable with the movement.

Shamanic Journey and Movement on Zoom

Virtual Shamanic Journey and Movement starts next week. We still have space left. This is an intimate group with limited space.

It is inspiring to ride the drumbeat and relate to others during this journey, even if it is through Zoom. I think it's because we are tapping into another realm together, and we relate differently, rather than sitting and looking at each other over a device.

This 7-week committed group series will begin in the U.S. on Tuesday, August 2, and run once a week to September 13, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm (PST); 8:00 - 10:00 pm (EST); and if you live in Australia, your day and time fall on Wednesdays from August 3 to September 14, at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (AEST). These sessions are 2 hours. Spirit has its timing, so I like to have the flexibility for the end time.

There is a sliding scale payment option from $210 - $350. Payment options are available. Pre-registration is required.

Let me know by emailing info@syzygydanceproject.org if you want to be part of this committed group, and I will send you the registration link.

With Love,
