COVID-19 directives revoked June 11 and replaced with guidance

The Ministry of Health is now at Recovery Status, meaning they are resuming regular operations and supporting health sector stabilization.

On June 11, 2022, the remaining Directives were revoked and replaced with Ministry of Health guidance for health care workers and organizations. This includes guidance on when masks should be worn in hospitals and other health care settings.

To continue providing an additional layer of protection for the most vulnerable, masks will still be required in long-term care and retirement homes. Masking is recommended in higher-risk congregate living settings, such as shelters and group homes.
