Updated COVID-19 Guidance

5th Dose Eligibility 


Effective May 3, 2022, moderately to severely immunocompromised individuals who received a 3-dose primary series are eligible for a second booster dose (5th dose) if they fall into one of the groups listed below:
  1. Moderately to severely immunocompromised individuals 60 Years of Age and Older
  2. Moderately to severely immunocompromised First Nation, Inuit and Métis individuals 18 years of age and older.
  3. Moderately to severely immunocompromised non- indigenous household members of First Nation, Inuit and Metis individuals, 18 years of age and older.
  4. Moderately to severely immunocompromised individuals who are residents of Long-Term Care Homes, Retirement Homes, Elder Care Lodges and Older Adults Living in other Congregate Settings
 
Interval: The second booster dose may be offered ≥five months (140 days) after their first booster dose at the discretion of their health care provider. The minimum interval for the second booster dose is 3 months (84 days) after their first booster dose.
 
Individuals can make an appointment or walk-in to the TBDHU Coliseum Clinic with a referral form or letter from their health care provider, or a prescription/medication container as proof. They can also contact a pharmacy to inquire if they will provide this dose.
