Novovax Arrives in Thunder Bay and District
TBDHU expects supply of Novovax to arrive in Thunder Bay shortly. We are currently scheduling clients on our waitlist and will call these clients to schedule an appointment when supply is available. The Province continues to recommend the preferential use of mRNA vaccines due to their high efficacy and safety profile. The Novavax vaccine may be an option for patient(s) who refuse to receive an mRNA vaccine or patient(s) unable to receive an mRNA vaccine due to a medical contraindication. Please reference the COVID-19 Vaccine Administration for up to date guidance on the use of Novavax.
