MiFID II trading rules rewrite means "inventible delays"

The European Commission sent sections of MiFID II trading rules back to European Securities & Markets Authority ("ESMA") to be rewritten, saying the latest drafts were not "up to standard". Guidelines on the modified duration of debt instruments

The European Banking Authority ("EBA") launched a public consultation on draft guidelines on corrections to modified duration for debt instruments. The guidelines aim to establish what type of adjustments to the modified duration ("MD"), as defined in the Capital Requirements Regulation ("CRR"), have to be performed in order to appropriately reflect the effect of the prepayment risk.
