Launches consultation on draft amended technical standards on passport notification

The European Banking Authority ("EBA") published a Consultation Paper on the draft amended Regulatory Technical Standards ("RTS") and Implementing Technical Standards ("ITS") on passport notification. The review of the abovementioned Regulations aims at improving the quality and consistency of information to be provided by a credit institution notifying its home competent authorities when it intends to open a branch or provide services in another Member State, as well as the communication between home and host authorities. Chinese buyers return to market for U.S. soy after tariff waivers granted
14 November 2019
"Chinese buyers are back in the market for American soybeans after crushers in the Asian nation were granted a new round of tariff waivers. Soybean processors in China were granted permission to buy another 10 million metric tons of U.S. supplies without retaliatory duties.
