Google Fiber Updates

For an overview of Google Fiber construction read this Jan 26 article from The Observer.

We've learned that the final 3 hut locations (of 19) were just recently determined. See this list of the 16 hut permits filed to date. We'll update the list once the final permits are filed.

You'll be able to sign up for Google Fiber at neighborhood Harris Teeter stores. No date yet, but stay tuned for details.
AT&T Fiber Updates

AT&T reported it has added more than 23,500 NC business customer locations to its fiber network since 2012.
In December, AT&T put on a job fair in Raleigh, hoping to hire 80 technicians for its expanding GigaPower and fiber-optic network services.

AT&T's GigaPower currently has limited availability in Charlotte, Huntersville and Gastonia.
