11th Annual Hot Pursuit is
Just Around the Corner!

Hot Pursuit 2020 is just a month away! On Saturday, April 25, we’re calling on you to lace up your sneakers and put on your thinking caps at our 11th Annual Hot Pursuit fundraiser presented by Par Hawaii. It’s not too late to gather your family and friends to register a team, enjoy friendly competition and win fantastic prizes!
Over the last 40 years, we’ve voyaged with thousands of patients and their families, bringing hope, reducing fears and impacting lives. All of the money raised at Hot Pursuit will help us further our mission and our purpose to provide care for every life journey.

Don’t delay—follow the below steps to get your team registered today!

Step 1: Build a Team

Gather 2 to 6 team members, then choose a team captain. Each member must register online or submit a physical entry form. Visit to register!

Step 2: Make a Commitment

Take advantage of Early Bird Registration and waive $50 off your registration fee when you sign up by March 29! After March 29, all teams must pledge to raise a minimum of $300.

Step 3: Raise Funds

Create a personalized Race Roster fundraising page where your family and friends can make donations. All funds raised will be applied to your team goal. Special incentive prizes will be awarded based on individual fundraising.

Step 4: Have Fun!

Whether you’re a participant or just want to support the cause, Hot Pursuit offers activities and family friendly fun for all ages. The best part? Your efforts help to ensure that those who are medically eligible for hospice care will receive it, regardless of their ability to pay.

Little Things, Big Differences for the Kahanus

There’s still time to make a difference for our pediatric hospice patients Punualii and Pulikikaua Kahanu and their family through our Little Things, Big Differences program. The brothers both suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. Wheelchair-bound and bed-bound, the boys can no longer walk, and are entirely dependent upon the caregiving support of their mother.
Little Things that will make a Big Difference for the Kahanu family include:
  • Two air conditioning units, one for each boy’s bedroom, as well as expert assistance with installing the units
  • Grocery gift cards (Sam’s Club, Walmart, Target, Ace Hardware for air conditioning units)
  • Google Play gift cards for audiobooks
  • Graphic novels and children’s books (including Percy Jackson series, Marvel comic books, Naruto, etc.)
Our Little Things, Big Differences program allows us to provide an added layer of support and care for people who are going through one of the most trying times of their lives. By lending this support, we ease the caregiving burden on parents and loved ones and allow them to simply be fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, and friends. As a community organization, Navian Hawaii is committed to uniting the Hawaii community in order to support those in need. We hope everyone considers donating little things to the Kahanu brothers to bring much-needed comfort and relief for the whole family.
Donations can be delivered or mailed to the Navian Hawaii office at 860 Iwilei Road. For more information, call (808) 791-8075, email or visit
