2. 2014 NSTA National Conference

The deadline for proposals for sessions and workshops for the 2014 NSTA National Conference was April 16. Sean Herberts (Gateway SciCafe) and Michelle submitted a proposal with a pitch that our afterschool program links to and enriches classroom instruction. We have our fingers crossed that it is accepted.

 3. Data Collection on Cafe Activities
All Members of the Cafe Network are committed to collecting data on their activities and reporting them once a year to the National Resource Center. Download the Data Collection document at http://teensciencecafe.org/resources/tscn-evaluation-data-form/ . The data is required by NSF, but valuable to each site in tracking your own progress over time and for demonstrating how many people are impacted by a program.

Have a great week!

Mike and Michelle
