|Weekly Update - March 4, 2014
1. We will not have a Go To Meeting this Friday, March 7. We are rethinking the purpose of these meetings. If information can be conveyed in email or blogs, we prefer to do so. We will have online meetings only when the work requires collaboration and discussion that cannot or has not occurred in email. At any time, members are welcomed to contact Mike or Michelle with questions or requests for help.
2. REVISED schedule for the Sustainability webinar series
The doodle poll reveals that the best time for the most people to attend the webinars on Sustainability is Tuesdays at 1:00 ET. The first webinar will be presented by Carol Conine and Howard Rutherford on March 11. The full schedule for the series is:
March 11: How to Identify and Research Prospects
March 17: Developing a Case Statement and Building the Connections
April 23: Elements of a Strong Proposal: Tips and Tricks of the Trade
May 5: Panel of Funders' Share Their Perspectives
After the webinar series concludes, we will schedule once a month virtual meetings for the group to convene and report on progress, challenges, and successes.

3. Interested in being on a planning committee for an all-Network symposium?
We want to start planning such a meeting, to happen some time this coming October, so that we can send a proposal to NSF in a timely fashion. Please let us know of your interest by next Monday, March 10. An honorarium will be paid to planning committee members.
Have a swell week!
