A Word From Our Directors

Dear Friend,

Last week Friday, the consensus of the UN's vote was not in favor of Israel and a Jewish Jerusalem.

Chanukah is a time of showing the world that no matter how dark of a place we live in, we are the candles that have the ability to brighten the world.

On Motzei Shabbat, the first night of Chanukah, the Lone Soldiers of Chayal el Chayal were honored at an incredible public Menorah lighting with dancing and music. Following that they were treated to a BBQ, all hosted generously by Chabad of Talbiya.

The event took place just a few hundred meters away from where the Chanukah story itself, transpired many years ago.

Throughout Chanukah we went out to bases distributing Menorahs and over 4,000 donuts. Seeing the soldiers reactions and hearing how we made their Chanukah was priceless!!

Thank You for being a part of our miracle this past month and helping us raise $214,748 in just 24 hours enabling us to continue caring for the Maccabees of today.

May the light of Chanukah illuminate your life throughout the whole year and be the light that will take us out of darkness and enable us to all be together in Jerusalem this year.

Visiting Soldiers On Bases

Just seeing the smiles on every single soldiers face made it all worth it!
Imagine standing on Shmira (guard duty) for hours and suddenly a car pulls up; friends, music, a fresh donut, and a Menorah. You would never expect such a small act to have such a huge impact!
