Help us raise funds for a new terrapin center!

Since 2011, we have been operating our River Terrapin project out of a villager's house, and now we are trying to raise RM60,000 (US$15,000) to establish a new center for our terrapin project at Kg. Pasir Gajah, Terengganu, Malaysia.

There are a few ways to help us achieve this goal:
  • Donate. Every dollar helps! Even small donations have a big impact!
  • Post to Facebook. Share this fundraiser page. The more people hear about us, the more likely we are to meet our target.
  • Share with your community. Call your friends, tell your co-workers, make an announcement at your social events, etc.
Your donation, regardless of the amount, helps us reach our goal  of raising RM60,000 for the new river terrapin center, and as an extension, support our important terrapin conservation efforts.

Support us now!

P/S: If you have any questions about this fundraiser or the new terrapin center, please get in touch with Pelf: pelf@turtleconservationsociety.org.my
Endangered Species Exhibition is back!

Remember the "We Are All Together" Endangered Species Exhibition that we participated in last month, in Publika? A larger-scale exhibition will be held from now until 29th May at 1Utama Shopping Mall.

We will be at 1Utama Shopping Mall this weekend, to promote turtle conservation awareness, in conjunction with World Turtle Day. We have lined up various activities for adults and children, including rock painting, face painting, movie screening, sale of exclusive merchandize, lucky draws, etc. Check out the event page on Facebook.

Date: 21st and 22nd May 2016 (Sat and Sun)
Time: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm
Venue: The Ledge Art Gallery, Level 3, New Wing, 1Utama Shopping Mall

We are still looking for about 10 volunteers to assist in the various activities throughout the 2-day event. If you're keen to spend some time with like-minded individuals, sign up as a volunteer now! Email pelf@turtleconservationsociety.org.my
Turtle Discovery Trip survey

As part of Loh Chee Hee's internship assignment, he plans to assess the effectiveness of our Turtle Discovery Trips in promoting turtles and raising awareness on various turtle species in Malaysia.

Please help us gauge the impacts of our Turtle Discovery Trips by filling up this survey form. It will only take about 5-8 minutes, we promise!

The findings from this survey will be announced in our June 2016 newsletter.
