Sarah S. Long, MD, Chief, Section of Infectious Diseases at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children has been appointed to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. This committee is made up of 12 experts from the medical and biological sciences, who review and evaluate data on the safety, effectiveness and proper use of vaccines and other related products.
