The Baltimore City Continuum of Care (CoC) is now accepting nominations for the open Board positions listed below. Nominations must be submitted by February 23rd, 2021. Please read this Call for Nominations carefully and in its entirety to ensure full understanding of the process.
Board's Responsibilities The Continuum of Care's Board is responsible for managing the Continuum for Baltimore City. In this capacity, it acts on behalf of the Continuum to fulfill several responsibilities, including the following:
Monitoring and guiding the implementation of the Journey Home priorities
Advising the Mayor of Baltimore City and other key government officials about policies, best practices, and approaches for making homelessness rare and brief.
Designating and working closely with the CoC Collaborative Applicant and HMIS Lead

Open Positions
Homeless or Formerly Homeless Individuals:5 positions
2 positions vacant for youth/young adults (18-24)
1 position vacant for survivor of domestic violence
Homeless and At-Risk of Homeless Service Providers: 2 positions (Eligible candidates are Employees of a funded or non-funded provider agency that primarily serves individuals or families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness)
At-Large Representatives: 2 positions (Eligible candidates are individuals affiliated with agencies who do not primarily focus on homelessness but nonetheless play a critical role and provide necessary resources to address homelessness. i.e representatives of businesses and faith-based entities)
System Leaders:3 positions (Eligible candidates are representatives of public and private agencies with the authority to influence multiple resources and high-level decision-making to address structural issues that impact homelessness. i.e leadership from public schools and public safety)
Vice Chair: 1 position (may choose to nominate any current board member, including the current Vice Chair and any other board member who is up for renewal)
