Are you currently experiencing homelessness in Baltimore City? You may be eligible for Rapid Re-Housing (RRH), a program that connects families and individuals experiencing homelessness to permanent housing.Join us virtually on Friday, February 19th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a shared learning event on Rapid Re-housing in Baltimore City. Experts panelists will provide an overview of the program and highlight available resources.
Through the generous support of the Weinberg Foundation, CSH is pleased to announce its Healthy Aging Academy for Supportive Housing providers serving vulnerable seniors exiting homelessness in the Chicago and Baltimore communities. Interested organizations areinvited to submit an applicationby February 22nd to identify a team of staff that will participate in the Training Academy.
Suggested staff include Supportive Housing Program Directors and Supervisors, Direct Service Staff, and Property Management Staff.
In the Healthy Aging Academy, you will:
Explore how to support residents ages 50+ to thrive in supportive housing
Learn about unique and best practices for effective, inclusive engagement, navigating benefit programs and aging services, and promoting safety and well-being
Connect with local aging and healthcare organizations to effectively support residents’ changing needs, including cognitive impairment and end of life care planning
Connect and learn from peers in Baltimore and Chicago
This free virtual Academy will include ten 2-hour discussion-based sessions. All sessions will take place over Zoom.
