We would like to thank everyone for their participation and insights in identifying the health priorities for Duluth over the next three years. We would especially like to thank our Community Health Needs Assessment Action Team for their focus on equity and inclusion in this process. We received extensive feedback from residents and community partners.
According to the survey, the top-identified Duluth community health needs are Mental and Social Wellbeing, Food Security, Substance Use and Housing.
Bridging Health Duluth worked with many community partners to create strategies to address three health needs, below, over the next three years. To learn more about each priority, including our strategies to address them, follow the links:
In addition, Bridging Health Duluth’s partner organizations are actively engaged in several established initiatives aimed at improving housing throughout our community. Bridging Health Duluth will seek to uplift and support these efforts.
Action teams to address strategies for Mental and Social Wellbeing, Food Security and Substance Use are currently being formed and we’re seeking community involvement. If you or a member of your organization is interested in helping to work on any of these strategies, please email Bridging Health Duluth Co-Chair Kim Nordin.
On behalf of the Bridging Health Duluth Steering Committee, we’d like to thank you for your interest in our community’s health and for the work that you do to make our community stronger.
