Building Alaska TV Series

SolarLogic SLIC controller featured on Renewable Energy episode

SolarLogic’s SLIC controller is featured in an episode of DIY Network’s Building Alaska series. The home was constructed  in a remote part of Alaska. The SLIC integrates all the hydronic heat sources and loads including the solar thermal (installed by Kerry Gronewald and his team from Alascorp), a geothermal heat pump (installed by Chuck Renfro from Energy Efficiency Associates), space heating and hot water. SLIC-provided remote monitoring and control is one of the features most appreciated by the homeowner and the installers given the home's remote location. For more detailed information on the SLIC controller, please review our website (www.solarlogicllc.com), give us a call (505 577-4633) or come to Monday's webinar (click on webinar graphic below).

What's going wrong?
The SLIC will tell you.

Peter Page of Amenergy installed this SLIC in 2012. Here's a recent email exchange he had with Fred Milder, CEO of SolarLogic:
Fred: The zone valve on the pool seems to have failed. We're getting valve errors and the pool has cooled off to 80F because it is getting no heat.
Peter, two days later:
The tech went over and replaced the valve head in 15 minutes. The client did not know that there was a problem or that we were there. This is one of the very positive features of your system. Thanks.
