Billboard Ad Sign Pilot Program

When searching for a living donor, you will improve the likelihood of success when more people are aware of your situation. The Billboard Ad Sign Pilot Program can help you increase the number of people who see your message. The only way someone will consider being a kidney donor is if they are aware of your need. Billboard ads reach more people and saves lives. A billboard ad could save your life

LKDN has teamed up with Clear Channel Outdoor, one of the largest billboard companies in the U.S. to simplify placing a billboard ad. For this pilot program LKDN is offering to pay for half the cost of a limited number of billboard ads placed by individuals.

You don't need to have a blood relative as a donor. In 2012 almost 70% of living donors were blood relatives, in 2017 only 40% were blood relatives.

Harvey Mysel

I’m a two time kidney transplant recipient and founder of the non-profit organization Living Kidney Donors Network. I started LKDN after my first kidney transplant in 2007; my wife Amy was my donor. I’d known about my kidney ailment, PKD a genetic condition, for 20 years. One and a half years after my transplant, I contracted a virus that attacks the kidney. I  was told in January 2012  I needed another transplant. I was very fortunate to receive a kidney from Stephen Liegghio in August 2012. To learn more about Harvey Mysel: Click Here
