New NSF Funding for LEO

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Hydrologic Science Program awards $550,000 to Biosphere 2 to study how water and solutes move through landscapes. Learn more.

UA Students Mentor Next Generation of Scientists

As part of the Biosphere 2 Outreach Scholars program, ten undergraduate and graduate students will each receive education & outreach training, a $500 award, and the opportunity to mentor 80 middle and high school students during the B2 Science Academy. Learn more.

Started in 2008, the Arizona Center for STEM Teachers (ACST) provides intensive training and skill enhancement to Arizona educators at Biosphere 2. Learn more.
