The Jungle Babbler - Tropical Birding's newsletter

January 2016

Happy New Year! We've added a bunch of new destinations in Europe to our tour lineup; TB has come a long way from its "tropical" roots. When visiting remote and icy destinations such as South Georgia, Alaska, and Svalbard, we are often asked "Why is your company called Tropical Birding"? A fair question - Tropical Birding started in 2001 by several bird guides based in South America and Africa; initially all of our tours really were in tropical areas, and the name was catchy so it stuck. We still like it, even though we now offer tours all over the planet.

In this edition of the newsletter, we're listing forthcoming tours you might be interested in, new additions to our tour lineup, recently published trip reports, and an upcoming event that we will be attending.
