GdB’s new Project: "CAP, What's cooking?" is launching in Milan, October 4
As announced in the previous issue, GdB is developing a new CAP communication project called “CAP What´s Cooking”, in cooperation with Slow Food Youth Network and CEJA. Part of the project is the organisation of seven local events - CAP Cookery workshops - in seven Member States. On October 4 we will also be present in Milan with our kick-off event in the framework of the ´We feed the planet´. 
The event will take place at Italian Makers Village, Via Tortona 32, Milan at 18.00.

'Can EU CAP it?' Project: new CAP Pro course offer & webinar series launched
To facilitate access to the 'Can EU CAP it?' Platform, some changes have been made. First of all, a registration is no longer necessary. Secondly, the access the CAP Pro course is now free of charge (registration is still required). Users will only are charged, if they want to receive a certificate of completion. Finally, we will start with a new free series of monthly 30 minute webinars for the users of the 'Can EU CAP it?' Platform. The webinars will involve experts from around Europe. Each month a specific topic related to current CAP issues will be addressed.
The first webinar will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 12h30 to 13h00 CET with the topic of: CAP: greening or green-washing? Groupe de Bruges president, Samuel Féret, will give his views on the implementation of the greening measures.

In this issue, we introduce our newest member Nana Phirosmanashvili (Georgia). Over the coming months we will introduce two new members that joined during the summer: Luca Bellomo (Italy) and Paul Swagemakers (Spain). If you would like to become a member, please send your request through our website
Nana Phirosmanashvili is an Executive Director of the Association for Farmers Rights Defense, AFRD. Her research focuses mainly on Agriculture Development, describing and understanding long-term changes of Climate, Ecosystems in response to natural and anthropogenic pressures, particularly climate change and its correlations on Farmers Rights, Rural Policy, Food Safety, Security, Gender and Agro Biodiversity Conservation.She has developed indicators and assessment systems for ecological and environmental status in support of the implementation of different Projects and Programs. She is a Representative of European Forum for Rural Advisory Services (EUFRAS) AFRD-Georgia of the Gender working group at the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS). 
She is managing the Agricultural Students and Young Farmers Exchange and Internship Programs in US and Europe of the AFRD. She is an author and co-author more than 35 publications, including 16 in international peer-reviewed journals. She is a Member of EUROSCIENCE, Entrepreneurship Research and Education Network of Central European Universities, ERENET and Avalon Foundation Network. For her CV please visit this link
