We are pleased to announce the latest update to the Ilios Curriculum Management Platform.
This release, v3.82.2,
contains a number of significant bugfixes and code updates or improvements for the system overall. Hosted schools will see these updates deployed automatically in the coming week; for self-hosting schools, we encourage you to update to take advantage of all the improvements in the latest available code.
The latest code and the complete changelog for this release, as always, are available for download here:
Hey DevOps and IT folks! One of the major efforts recently from the Ilios team has been the "containerization" and further automation of our cloud architecture. This work has made the platform significantly more secure, manageable, and cost-efficient. In the next Monthly Status Update, we'll be sharing some more detailed information regarding just what that container environment looks like, what it means, and (for non-hosted schools) how you might take advantage of these improvements in your own deployments of Ilios.

How to Update Your Frontend:
The Ilios frontend is always up-to-date on our content-delivery servers at Amazon S3, but you will need to regularly run a console command on your backend instance in order ensure that your users are seeing the latest version and that they are getting all the latest features and bugfixes. To make sure you users are receiving the latest frontend code at all times, just follow the steps described here:
Though you will probably never need to deploy the Ilios 3 Frontend on your own servers, the source for the frontend code can always be found at https://github.com/ilios/frontend/releases.
The changelog for updates specific to the frontend can be viewed here.
