Ilios Project Updates: Making curriculum in the health professions more meaningful in a complex and changing world.
curriculum management for the health professions

While we have had supporting releases for frontend bugfixes and housecleaning updates, there is no major version update this week, and the current release remains v3.57.0.

As the holiday season has progressed, the Ilios development team has continued to focus on maintenance and housekeeping, as well as making progress on our next set of major feature updates --- notably the ability to link sessions to identify pre- and post-work, updates to the display of independent / asynchronous learning activities (ILMs), and our course management LTI plugin. Due to a number of external issues (like resource demands, organizational requirements, committees, vacations and the like) this is going more slowly than anticipated. However, we are closing in on the technical issues which require addressing, and should soon have some great stuff to share with the community.

This will be the last regular weekly update for 2018; our monthly status report will go out December 10, and will include a roundup of the year's achievements and progress.

We are now actively collecting error logging from our live sites, so if you are running the most recent version of Ilios (v3.57.0), we encourage you to consider turning on this reporting feature. As we have noted previously, no PII or identifying information is collected, other than originating IP address, so you can be assured that your data remains secure, and the delivery of error logging to our team will significantly improve our ability to address your needs. If your systems are already hosted by us, there is no need for action. We already receive your logs. But if your school self-hosts, please take a look at the documentation here.
