Ilios Project Updates: Making curriculum in the health professions more meaningful in a complex and changing world.
curriculum management for the health professions

No release this week, but we've updated a few items in the app for you:

Feature 1: Improved Learner Assignment. It is now possible to assign individual learners to activities, as well as learner groups.

This is available now for any unique offering or ILM. For more information, please see the user guide.

Feature 2: Improved ILM Learner Assignment. A bug was impacting the review  and update of assigned learners for ILM sessions. This has been corrected.

if you have questions please don't hesitate to send us a note at

OTHER UPDATES: While the team continues its API work, we are also now moving ahead to introduce a new tracked role in Ilios, that of Student Advisor, which will provide the ability for learners to be assigned into non-learner functions as tutors, advisors, groups leaders, and similar roles. We expect to launch this role in late summer. More details on the specifics of the role and its capacities will be available soon.
The latest code and the complete changelog for this release, as always, are available for download here:

LTI DEPLOYMENT: You can now plug the Ilios events & calendar dashboard, as well as the course manager, directly into your LTI-compatible LMS pages. It's as easy as clicking your mouse (two or three times). In order to deploy, you will need to be provided with a secure access key. Please email us for complete instructions at

TRAINING: Are you interested in getting a focused training for your power Ilios users and managers in your school or institution? We can do that for you: 1.5 - 2 days of focused training on the most effective ways to leverage Ilios as power users, and deliver information to your students and faculty in the best way possible, custom-tailored for your needs and methodologies.
