Welcome to another monthly status update for the Ilios Project. Again for this month all quadrants are in the green, despite the various challenges and uncertainties in the current climate.
We are also pleased to announce the latest update to Ilios, v3.90.3
, available now and ready for your systems. Why the jump in numbers since the last release? Well, when we pushed out the latest code we were working on, it uncovered a minor upstream issue for authentication - causing no issues for users, but generating a ton of error alerts for the team. It took a few pushes to plug in all the needed corrections; and so here we are!
This release includes additional foundational reporting code, updates to the authentication tools, and the ability for users with heightened permissions to link directly from the title of a session in the calendar to the session management page for that activity. If you have instructor-level permissions, you will now see the Session Title in calendar events as a blue link:
clicking on this will direct you to the management page with a view of information such as group assignments and other key, non-student-facing information. Read/write privileges are enforced according to an individual user's specific permissions (Users with only learner privileges will not have access to this link).
If you are contributing to the AAMC Curriculum Inventory this cycle, the deadline for doing so is fast approaching. There are still a few schools out there who have not submitted their reports; if you need assistance with your report, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
. 10/21/2021 is this year's deadline for schools to take part, so be sure to upload your report by then if you choose to do so this year.
Next Scheduled Release: 22 October, 2021
Current Version: v3.90.3
Please be sure to updates your systems to get the latest, greatest code!
