RELEASE NOTIFICATION

We are please to announce the availability of the latest update for Ilios. This release, v3.73.0 contains a number of notable updates, including the first round of improvements to our dashboard calendar, and a number of bugfixes for search, item deletion, the competency mapping download and display tools, and more.

CALENDAR IMPROVEMENTS: This round of calendar display improvements is notable in that it now provides views which are much more accessible, and much more readable in mobile device formats than previously. Here's an example of the "Week View" of the calendar, shown on an older phone with a 5" screen:

         

On full size screens, you should see numerous usability improvements as well -- without losing any current features or tools.

We all are being impacted by the challenges presented with the global outbreak of the the novel coronavirus COVID-19. Regardless of your institutions own issues and efforts, we want you to know and be assured that, if you are a hosted Ilios school, our systems will remain at full capacity. How to Update Your Frontend:
The Ilios frontend is always up-to-date on our content-delivery servers at Amazon S3, but you will need to regularly run a console command on your backend instance in order ensure that your users are seeing the latest version and that they are getting all the latest features and bugfixes. To make sure you users are receiving the latest frontend code at all times, just follow the steps described here:

Though you will probably never need to deploy the Ilios 3 Frontend on your own servers, the source for the frontend code can always be found at https://github.com/ilios/frontend/releases.
