To those of you celebrating the Jewish New Year, a Shana Tova!

No release this week, but that doesn't mean no new improvements. Along with a number of bugfixes, improvements to name displays and performance, we also have a number of new tools in the interface to assist you with some of the many challenges we all face in a newly remote and virtualized learning experience.

Virtual Learning Links: Add a default Zoom, Webex, or other virtual space link to any learner group, and attach virtual learning links to any offering or small group activity.

Accommodation: Along with the expansion of online activity, the need to address accommodation for any learners or educators desiring or requiring this has grown. We're making it a little bit easier to track and manage with our new accommodation flag for learner groups. It can be applied to any learner group which may include one or more members requiring forms of accommodation for online participation.

The accommodation flag icon appears once applied in all management pages alongside the associated group; it does not display to learner-facing pages or in the calendar. The virtual learning links appear wherever a location is represented for learners and instructors alike.

Hosted schools will see these features rolled out automatically in the coming week; for self-hosted schools, be sure to update to the latest version of Ilios, and update your frontend to see these features.

To make sure you users are receiving the latest frontend code at all times, just follow the steps described here:

Though you will probably never need to deploy the Ilios 3 Frontend on your own servers, the source for the frontend code can always be found at

The changelog for updates specific to the frontend can be viewed here.
