Skin deep
Forget me not - please take a moment to update your subscription in the previous email if you haven't already done so.
Eco Shamanism in the here and now needs to be brief and only skin deep following a couple of full and long weekends running trainings for those who are diving deeply under their skin into the Eco Shamanism courses.

So, very briefly, please note that Shamanic Sundays is NOT running this Sunday 6th May (next one is Sunday 3rd June), nor is Our Listening Landscape weekend in the Quantocks. I will be out and about again next Sunday 13th at 2pm in Bath giving a talk for the Omphalos Pagan Group at St Jame's Wine Bar - I believe this to be an open event so if you're in or near Bath please come along. Click here for more details including venue.

I will also be in Avebury on Sunday 20th and Monday 21st with poet Jay Ramsay running a workshop on Poetry and Eco Shamanism. It is exciting to be running something in Avebury and to be working with Jay. Please note that the venue has changed to The Henge Shop in Avebury - click here to go to the web page.

Echoing green, grey and yellow - Avebury before a storm
I'm excited to say that I am collaborating with poet Jay Ramsay in May on a two day workshop entitled Echoing Green - Poetry and Eco Shamanism. And just as exciting is that this event is happening in Avebury where the land has sacred and ancient human language in the form of stone circles, avenues, barrows and mounds. We will be concentrating on how poems come from 'source' or 'essence' so will be reading out of the 'book of nature' to shape our poetic language. Stephen Thomas of Gatekeeper fame is admirably at the helm and helping us steer our ship into an Avebury port with all the practicalities . . . venue is currently being confirmed as original venue has emergency maintenance booked!
