Our Membership Drive is in full swing! Did your membership form get lost in the holiday shuffle? No problem! New this year, you can complete the membership/pledge form and contribute online. All contributions are tax deductible.

Wed, 1/8, 1-3pm, Friends of WCPD Monthly Meeting
Everyone is welcome. No RSVP required! Join us for our monthly meeting to review what's been going on in the parks, and what is coming up. Help us plan for 2020! Meet at Park District Office (in WC Armco Park), 1223 OH-741, Lebanon, OH 45036.

Mon, 1/20, 1-2pm, Otterbein Nature Series - Mason Bees with Naturalist Shannon
Free and open to the public, no RSVP required. Learn about native, solitary bees that are more efficient pollinators than honeybees and rarely sting. Best of all,they are easy to attract to your own home with a few easy strategies. See samples of bee cocoons and successful bee houses, and get a free copy of the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s “Common Bees and Wasps of Ohio” field guide with Naturalist Shannon at this month’s event. Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community, 585 OH-741, Lebanon, OH 45036 (Phillippi Room).

Sat, 1/25, 1-3pm, Winter Hike with OCVN Bill Lindauer
Free and open to the public. RSVP info below. See a variety of birds, and look for signs of flying squirrels, owl pellets, animal tracks, and native plants. Gulley Park and Trails, 2168 Middleboro Rd., Clarksville, OH 45113 (first parking lot). Please let Bill know how many will be attending: 937-760-0620 or lindauergolf@yahoo.com. The Friends of Warren Co Park District offers a $100 tuition reimbursement scholarship for new OCVNs who would like to volunteer with our Park District. Please contact Naturalist Shannon for more information.

Our programs' success is because of our wonderful supporters, including Friends of the WCPD, Park Staff and Commissioners, local nature professionals, and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists.
