GNC Mid-Year Report (2021)
The Mid-year Report (2021) presents global highlights from the work of the GNC Coordination and the Alliance from January-June.
GNC Mid-Year Report (2021) Country profiles
A total of 34 countries - those with activated nutrition clusters or with national sector coordination - reported to the GNC on their achievements for NiE in the first half of 2021.
Latest FAO/WFP update (for August-November 2021) warns that targeted humanitarian action is urgently needed to save lives and livelihoods in 23 hotspots, with Ethiopia and Madagascar now on high alert.
Position paper on Famine Prevention and Mitigation
Children, women and children are at the centre of UNICEF’s commitment to an urgent, integrated and multi-sectoral response to famine prevention, combining immediate lifesaving interventions with sustainable actions.
New State of the Humanitarian System (SOHS) survey
The SOHS takes stock of how the humanitarian system is performing - what’s working & what can be improved (5th edition due mid 2022). Help shape future humanitarian action by taking the SOHS 10-15 minute survey – ends 1 October.

The Technical Support Team (TST) of the GNC Technical Alliance refers to the 20 personnel, including deployable personnel and helpdesks, available to provide Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE) technical support.
