1542 Mountain View Dr, Quakertown Come to Nockamixon State Park on National Get Outdoors Day, June 11, from 9-11am to participate in the Kid’s Fishing Tournament! The Friends of Nockamixon want to encourage children ages 5-14 to learn how to fish. All participants will receive fishing items, and bait and poles are available for loan. Trophies and prizes will be awarded!! Please register here or by contacting Volunteer Helen Maurella via email at maurella4@verizon.net. Registrations must be submitted by Tuesday, June 7th. The tournament may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. The raindate will be June 18th, 9-11am. Fishing is an excellent way for kids to connect with the outdoors and have fun!! This program is FREE!
