Route 113 (Bedminster Road) will be closed for repairs between Rt. 313 and Elephant Road from October 1st through October 6th, from 6am to 5pm. Plan an alternate route during that time.

PVFC's bi-annual Roast Beef Dinner; Sit-ins and Drive Thru are available. Home made meals come served complete with slow cooked Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Homemade Gravy, Pickled Cabbage, Harvard Beets, Peas, Bread, and Dessert. Sit-ins also get choice of beverage. All food is cooked and prepared by members of Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company. Adults are $14 and Kids are $7. All take out is $14 per person.

Bucks County Medication Disposal Day
Saturday, October 17th

Bucks County Judicial Center

The free and anonymous event offers residents the opportunity to dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications. While all sorts of medications will be accepted, the event particularly is targeting prescription painkillers, such as Oxycotin and other opioids, which are often abused and serve as a gateway to heroin addiction.

Here are a few alarming facts: 
  • Seventy percent of people who abuse prescription pain relievers get them from friends or relatives.
  • One-in-four high school students have abused prescription drugs.
  • According to the Environmental Protection Agency, improperly discarded medications have been detected in community water supplies.

Black Cat 5K and One Mile Fun Run
Saturday, October 31st
9:30am to 1pm
Peace Valley Park
Held in beautiful Peace Valley Park in New Britain, PA, the goal of the Black Cat 5K is to raise money for the Bucks County SPCA, while helping to find forever homes for dogs, cats and other companion animals in Bucks County. You can run the 5k or take a one mile fun walk, whichever is more your speed (and distance). For more information, visit http://blackcat5k.org/.
Halloween is Saturday, October 31st.

A message from the Bedminster Municipal Authority:
Water and sewer bills will be mailed the first week of October, and will be due the first week of November.

Bedminster Township Police Department

Public Information Release Report


Summary of incidents:

On July 11, 2015 Bedminster Township Police arrested Korbin Pomon, age 20, of Chalfont PA and charged him with DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of  Rte. 113 and Rt. 313 in the Township.

On August 1, 2015, Bedminster Township Police arrested Pene Mendoza Alas, age 27, of Perkasie PA and charged him with DUI as a result of a traffic stop at Rte. 611 and Quarry Rd. Alas's blood alcohol level was .162, twice the legal limit.

On August 2, 2015, Bedminster  Township Police arrested Peter Ianacone, age 30, of Plumsteadville PA, and charged him with DUI as a result of a traffic stop at Rte. 611 and Quarry Rd. in the Township.

On August 19, 2015, Bedminster Township Police arrested Melissa Decker, age 48, of Warminster PA, and charged her with DUI as the result of a traffic stop. Police had received numerous calls of a vehicle traveling southbound on Rte. 611 through the township that was operating erratically.
Township Offices are closed on Monday, October 12th in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.
