Dublin Fire Company Soup Day

Saturday, January 9th

Take out or eat in. The Eat-in menu includes a Bowl of Soup, Crackers, Beverage, and Dessert for $5.00.
Anna Straw Initiative: Family Education Program on Addiction
Begins Monday, January 4th and runs for 3 Monday evenings
7 pm to 9 pm
Red School House, The Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, 16 Irish Meetinghouse Rd., Perkasie 

Learn about addiction and how to combat it!  Participate in the Council of Southeast PA's Program FREE.  Topics include understanding the disease, impact on the family, developing next steps and opioid overdose training.  Call the Council to register and get more information 1-800-221-6333.  Jane said "keeping her daughter's addiction a secret was never an option".  The Anna Straw Initiative, fighting addiction, one family at a time.  www.annastrawinitiative.org
The Parent and Family Member Addiction Support group will meet in the Red Schoolhouse on Wednesday, January 20th, 7 pm.  All are invited to attend to share experiences about their loved one's addiction, support each other, share about the challenges and REACH OUT FOR HOPE in the future.  The group will meet every month the 3rd Wednesday evening @ 7pm beginning in January 2016.

Please plan to join us for a night of fun and furious bingo on Saturday, January 30, 2016, 7:00 p.m. at Benner Memorial Hall in Richlandtown. Proceeds benefit AWP’s vibrant Prevention Project, which strengthens our community’s understanding of the issues of domestic violence and how working together, we can create safe, flourishing futures for all.

Bedminster Township offices will be closed on Monday, January 18th in observance of the Martin Luther King Day holiday.

Representative Quinn has expanded her office's hours in upper Bucks County. See the 2016 schedule below:

 
Bedminster Township: Second Wednesday of the following months (January, March, May, July, September, November) from 9AM-Noon

Doylestown Borough: Second Wednesday of the following months (February, April, June, August, October and December) from 9AM-Noon

Nockamixon Township: First Wednesday of every month from 9AM-Noon

• Expedited driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals. 
• Assistance with PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons). 
• PACE and PACENET applications for seniors. 
• Property Tax and Rent Rebate filing assistance. 
• Consumer complaint forms. 
• State tax forms. 
• Filing for unclaimed property. 
• Free state maps, state park information, and PA Vacation Guides. 
• Copies of legislation.
