Public Information Release Report

Theft by Deception
Bedminster Police arrested Matthew Palladino, age 24, of Perkasie for theft by deception. On January 13, 2015, Palladino went to a local salvage yard with scrap metal to sell. The load was weighed and Palladino received payment for it, which included concrete and large stones. Upon reviewing surveillance tapes it was discovered that the concrete and stone was included. Palladino was paid for 860 pounds of those materials which was represented as steel.

False Report of Child Abuse
Bedminster Police arrested Heather DeHaven, age 28, of Philadelphia PA for intentionally making a false report of child abuse. In August of 2014 DeHaven was living on Old Easton Road in the Township, and reported to police that the father of her ten year old son had sexually molested the boy. She continued with this account while the boy was subjected to both physical examinations and interviews. After numerous interviews and tests it was determined that DeHaven was not truthful and filed false reports with both Police and the Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency.

Burglary
Bedminster Police have arrested William Stoothoff, age 24, of Perkasie for burglary, theft and related offenses stemming from an incident on October 27, 2014 in the 3700 block of Ridge Road. A message from the Bedminster Municipal Authority:
Water System Flushing Notification

Bedminster Municipal Authority will be flushing the water distribution system beginning Sunday night May 17th through Wednesday night May 20th.  Flushing will take place between the hours of 11pm and 5am.  Please refrain from using water during this time as it may draw sediment into your service line.  Customers may experience low pressure and temporary discoloration of water.  If discoloration persists, please let it settle for a minimum of a half hour.  Then run the COLD water for a few minutes.  If the problem persists, customers should contact our office at 215.249.3320.  Additionally, we urge you to check your wash water prior to doing laundry.  Also, any water softeners should be turned off to prevent back siphoning of the softening media.  If you do not receive a phone call on the flushing dates prior to flushing, please go to our website at www.bedminsterma.org and update your emergency contact information at the top right of the page.

Thank you for your cooperation.
