Halloween Safety Tips

On average, children are more than twice as likely to be hit by a car and killed on Halloween than on any other day of the year.

For tips on making this Halloween a safe and fun experience, read the safekids.org trick or treating safety tips here. Also, when kids get home, remember to check all treats to make sure they are sealed. Discard any candy with torn packages or holes, spoiled items, or homemade treats that haven't been made by someone you know.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!
