Family Health Library
at The Junior League Family Resource Center at: 
Do you or your child have a medical condition that you wished you knew more about? The Family Health Library (FHL) at The Junior League Family Resource Center is full of FREE information about medical conditions and disabilities. For children, check out books on medical conditions, coping, emotions, and special books for siblings. The FHL can be accessed in person, by phone, email or fax. They will also research a condition and send you a packet of information! Learn more >>

CALLER: I’m calling for my 16-year-old son who wants to find ways to serve with activities he likes and feels comfortable doing. He has developmental disabilities, uses a wheelchair for mobility, and is not good at physical labor, but he’s a good kid and an average student with a big heart. A lot of kids his age get involved in group mission trips, repairing houses in Appalachia, or with similar neighborhood projects. For years it has felt like people only want to give to him, or to us, but opportunities for us to give are hard to find. VKC Reading Clinic 
Now accepting applications for the 2019 Spring Term, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Reading Clinic offers one-on-one tutoring assistance to children in grades K-8. Tuition is $1250/semester & some scholarships are available. Spring semester runs January 22, 2019 - April 18, 2019. Read More >>
