10 new student bursaries for DEL Conference

Application Deadline: 28 April 2017

UAL’s Teaching and Learning Exchange is pleased to announce there are now 10 bursaries available for UAL students to attend and/or present at the
2017 DEL (Digitally Engaged Learning) conference

About the conference

DEL is an international conference exploring and evolving digitally engaged teaching and learning in art and design Higher Education. Themed ‘Teaching Making/Making Teaching’, DEL 2017 will explore practices of teaching, making and researching that are actively with, about or in digital tools and spaces. We understand teaching, making and researching as uncertain ‘crafts’ that involve processes of self-discovery, experimentation, enquiry, reflexivity and development.

You’ll have the chance to attend workshops, staff and student presentations, panel discussions, keynote speeches, and hands-on activities.

Speakers
We have a great line up of speakers, including:
  • Thomas Castro – founder, owner, partner and designer of LUST/LUSTlab
  • Diana Arce – artist, researcher and activist
  • Student panel addressing ‘designing a feminist internet’
How to apply
To apply for a bursary please complete our simple application form.
Applications will be judged on the impact attendance will have on the applicant’s learning or creative practice at UAL.

You don’t have to present a paper or workshop to attend, but you are welcome to do so. If you would like to present at the conference, visit the DEL website and refer to the submission page
