Smart City Open Data Call

July 1st 2019 - October 1st 2019
Dear <<First Name>>,

The SCIFI Open Innovation Challenge has launched its second open data call on July 1st 2019.  The Smart City Innovation Framework Implementation (SCIFI) aims to bring together the public sector and smart city innovators in solving the challenges today's cities face.
Four cities, Mechelen, Bruges, Delft and Saint-Quentin, have called for solutions to 9 Open Data Challenges in mobility and environment. Each pilot will receive up to 10k funding for a 6 month acceleration programme. If the solution is successful, it will enter a full implementation phase with extra funding available after these 6 first months.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity and directly ask your questions to the partnering cities, join us for a free Webinar on Tuesday 16th July at 12 pm (noon) BST on 'How to solve challenges faced by medium-sized Cities with Open-Data?'

Webinar: How to solve challenges faced by medium-sized cities with Open Data?

Join us on 16th July from 1pm CET / 12pm (noon) BST for a webinar where Johanna Walker, Senior Research Assistant, University of Southampton, will be speaking about the SCIFI Open innovation challenges and how smart city innovators can help solve some of the pressing challenges cities face today.
Find out about challenges from the cities of Mechelen, Bruges, Delft and Saint-Quentin and the kind of solutions they are looking for. The SCIFI Accelerator programme offers up to 10k to develop a pilot/proof-of-concept during a six-month period with the partner city.
We’ve put together videos on each of the challenges, take a look at the first one on bicycle flow with Hester Torn, Information Advisor, City of Delft
