November 2019 Newsletter
<<First Name>>,

November is the month that gets us ready for the holidays-- and what fun it is! Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for family and friends gathering and giving thanks.  There is so much power in giving thanks.  Always look at what you have, not what you don't have. The more you give thanks, the more positive things come back to you.  Giving thanks should be everyday, not just one day of the year.  I'm so thankful for all of you in this past year who have traveled with me and asked me to arrange your dream vacation.

The leaves have all fallen now, but we can still see color, especially the red berries on holly bushes, which are so beautiful!  Sunsets are so spectacular on these crisp, clear fall nights.

October was a very busy month for travel. I had individuals and also a group who went to the Mediterranean on the MSC Divinia Cruise.  We had such a wonderful time visiting, Italy, Spain and France.  The weather that time of year is perfect! I took some pictures of the group to share with you (below).

Joe and Fran had a wonderful 50th Anniversary trip to Corleone, Sicily and Sambuca, Palermo! She wrote a most wonderful note to us, when they returned, which I share below.

> Never put valuables, jewelry, a cash or credit cards in your check-in luggage.

My physical therapist from Priority Physical Therapy, Allison Brewer, has some great tips on protecting your body from travel injuries.  Here are a few she shared with me:

> Ask for help when placing luggage in overhead bins on airplanes.
> If you have trouble reaching, or your bag is too heavy to lift over your head, ask someone for assistance.
> Remember this both with getting on the plane and when you have arrived and you are leaving the plane.

What a beautiful thank you!

"I would like to thank Kathy and Mac Travel and Journey's Connect for making my 50th wedding anniversary dream trip the most amazing trip ever. I cannot praise Kathy and Mac enough. Journey's Connect is a class act. Kathy and Mac were extremely helpful in connecting me with Palermo so I could find my grandfather's childhood home. A dream come true. All of our hotels were beautiful and our meals were amazing. I cannot praise Kathy and Mac or Journey's Connect enough. Our driver, Giovanni, was so friendly even though there was a language barrier, I just loved him. Our tour guides in Palermo, Corleone and Sambuca were very very knowledgeable in the history of those towns. We had a very polite and knowledgeable guide for our excursion to the Valley Of Temples in Agrigento. Thank you again Kathy. You made another one of our trips fantastic."
