October 2019 Newsletter
Hi
<<First Name>>,

Everywhere I go, I see pumpkins and decorations for Halloween. The leaves have changed and will start falling soon.  Many of my clients are getting ready to travel all around Europe.  Europe is beautiful in the fall with the cool evenings and Indian summer days.
There are so many seasonal activities.  Octoberfest in America and Europe-apple picking.  You get to taste pumpkin in coffee, pies and cookies.  You can dress up in Halloween costumes.  Oh, and we can't forget Halloween movies will be out  in a few weeks, so, get the boots and sweaters out and enjoy every moment!

Clients, Tom and Sally Crowe went on a Carnival Cruise out of New York at the end of the summer.  Below are some fun photos from their great trip!

Also, clients Joe and Karen Tracy went on an amazing cruise to Amsterdam for their anniversary!  They had a fabulous trip-- "
Thank you so much for organizing. We had a perfect vacation!"  (pictures below)

I would like to talk about something that has been on my mind lately.  Life changing events like divorce or the death of a spouse, leave many people bereft and reluctant to travel alone.  People feel "guilty" or afraid, to go on trips without their spouse by their side.  This can be a very sad emotion.  I have several longtime clients who are going through these life changing events.  As time passes, they are slowly getting the notion to travel on their own or with a group.  My specialty is creating custom trips, with groups.  These trips are especially wonderful because when you travel with my groups, we are all like a "family".  No one is really alone (unless they choose to be), and there is always companionship on tours and dinners.  I only plan trips to destinations and locations that are safe and comfortable. If you are considering going on a trip and are hesitant to go alone, please contact me, and I can assist you with choosing the right fit for you.  For example, the Scotland trip coming up in April 2020, will be a wonderful group event-- I encourage you to think about joining us, if you're ready to take a few baby steps.  I can promise you that you will be so happy to have gone on this adventure!

My hot travel picks for the Month- Don't miss these amazing adventures!!

Are you on drugs??
> To avoid problems when passing through customs, keep medications in their original, labeled containers.  Bring copies of your prescriptions and the generic names for the drugs.
> If a medication is unusual or contains narcotics, carry a letter from your doctor attesting to your need tot take the drug.
> If you have any doubt about the legality of carrying a certain drug into a country, consult the embassy or consulate of that country before you travel.

Why use KathyMac’s Travel services to plan your dream vacation instead of booking the trip on your own?
The internet is a wonderful, useful tool to book your own trip.  In some cases, you may find great deals, and it is tempting to grab the best price for your vacation.  However, those prices don’t always include fees, taxes and other service charges. Nor do they give you assistance on traveling to and from airports, or have a contact should you have an issue during your trip.  You are on your own.  If you’re traveling to a foreign country, this can be very scary and possibly dangerous.

When you book your vacation with KathyMac’s Travel, you will always get exact prices, and no hidden costly surprises. Guaranteed.  You have the peace of mind that you and your family have someone to take care of any issues that might arise during your trip.  KathyMac’s Travel is with you every step of the way, in case you need help, and will work on your behalf should you need assistance.  We offer peace of mind and valuable vacation experiences! Group and individual travel.
