The Barcelona’s Institut del Teatre hosts a retrospective of Mariaelena Roqué; she is a multidisciplinary artist and visual performer with an extensive experience of the Catalan and international stages. Born in Catalonia, Roqué raised and trained in Venezuela. As creator and artistic director, she co-founded - in Barcelona- the Companyia Carles Santos (1985-2010) with whom she performed at the National-International Theater-Music Festivals and other great events such as the Barcelona's Olympic games (1992). Currently, Roque held exhibitions in various museums in Europe and America and also has been teaching in several Universities... Fundación Juan March: New Open Access Collection to Musical Theatre
