As I write this note to you, my heart is heavy. Tuesday evening there was yet another act of mass violence in our news feed. Another community torn apart in grief and fear. Join me in a prayer for the city of Atlanta, and especially for the individuals and families who lost daughters and sons, brothers and sisters, parents and friends:
God of Peace, comfort these who've been on the receiving end of violent hate with your love. We know that violence starts in the heart. Purify our hearts and our minds. Turn our eyes to you, that we may see others the way you see them, instead of the way the world sees them. In Christ's name. Amen.

Easter Sunday is Coming!
Join us on Maundy Thursday (6 PM in the Sanctuary) and Good Friday (6 PM in the Sanctuary) for meaningful Holy Week worship. We also have four in-person worship options on Easter Sunday:
7 AM Sunrise | ESUMC Basketball Court
8:45 AM Parking Lot Worship | Main Lot
9:45 AM Modern Worship | Sanctuary
11 AM Classic Worship | Sanctuary
Our two services in the Sanctuary will require registration, so make sure you click here to sign up!

This Sunday we continue our series The Rocks Cry Out by looking at Matthew 16: 13-20, the story of the woman caught in adultery. Join us for Modern Worship at 9 AM in the parking lot or Classic Worship at 11 AM in the Sanctuary. Don't forget to follow along in your Lent Kit! This week our reflection focuses on shoes.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Phil. 4:6
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Jennie

COVID-19 Worship Update:
We have reopened our Sanctuary for worship at 11 AM on SundaysMasks are required at all times inside the building, and temperature checks and distancing protocols will be maintained.
Here is our new Sunday Worship schedule:

Modern Worship | Parking Lot | 9 AM
Classic Worship | Sanctuary | 11 AM

Let's continue to live out our mission to Be Disciples who Make Disciples who we share the love of Christ with our little corner of NWA and beyond!
Join us for worship in the Parking Lot (9 AM) or in the Sanctuary (11 AM) this Sunday as we continue with our Lenten series: The Rocks Cry Out. During this series, our worship services will be centered around the metaphor of stones being representative of corporate and individual sin. As we enter into spring and signs of new life surround us through God's creation, we will explore how we are made new and can experience new life through God's grace and forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us as we reflect and rejoice in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ this Holy Week and Easter Sunday. For more information on our Holy Week happenings, click here.
Join Pastor Jennie and Brooke on Facebook or YouTube at 12 PM each Wednesday during Lent as they cook their way through Elm Springs UMC's 2014 church cookbook, "Let's Eat". This week, Pastor Jennie had some help from two special guest sous-chefs, Clarke and Ellis. They tried recipes by Mary Zimmerman and Terry Rakes: Cowboy Cookies + Slime.
