PASTOR'S CORNER
Friends,
I'm looking forward to serving with many of you tomorrow (Saturday) as we partner with HOPE Distributors and Neighborhood Church to provide meals for members of our community. If you know of someone who needs some help stretching groceries, send them to Elm Springs tomorrow morning at 9am. We will be here until the supplies run out (which usually happens pretty quickly)!

On Sunday we will close out our series A New Normal? with 2 Cor. 5:16-21. I pray God gives us a good word to move forward into the mission of Christ here at Elm Springs!

We will resume gathering in our Sanctuary on October 4th at 11am for traditional worship. We have prepared our worship space by spreading out seating, and we will be checking temperatures and providing masks for anyone who needs one. I am confident that these procedures will allow us to worship together responsibly and safely. A couple of things to note: 1) We will be able to sing (quietly) with masks on, but we will not have a choir in the loft in accordance with CDC guidelines. As soon as it is deemed safe to have the choir back, we will do so! 2) Offering plates won't be passed down rows, but there will be an opportunity for you to your gifts in a box either during or after the service. 3) We won't be able to fellowship before or after the service in the building, but we will make space outside the entrance to safely greet one another. Please be in prayer for our church as we take these next steps.

We will continue worshiping in the parking lot at 9am as long as the weather permits. I have enjoyed our time in the lot and I'm grateful that we have such an awesome campus that allows us to gather outside as well!

If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to email me at pastor@elmsprings.church or call 479-248-1290.

Grace and Peace,
Pastor Jennie
