She will be giving a talk February 16 at 4:30 p.m in McCosh 50. Free and open to the public, but tickets required, available by calling University Ticketing at 609-258-9220 starting February 13. Sponsored by Princeton University Ballet, Lewis Center for the Arts, and Princeton’s Center for African American Studies. We couldn't be more excited that she is coming!


During Princeton's Intersession break between the two semesters, PUB hosted two beginner ballet classes through USG's Wintersession program. Like PUB 101, initiatives such as these really help to promote PUB's ideal of making ballet accessible to the college community. The event was widely attended. Princeton Profile: Colby Hyland

PUB dancer Colby Hyland '16 was recently featured by Princeton University's Princeton Profiles. The video showcases this multi-talented dancer and scientist. Way to go, Colby!

Joseph Morrissey

Joseph Morrissey is currently the Director of Artistic Planning and Touring for The Hong Kong Ballet. He has danced with the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, Germany, the Boston Ballet and the Charleston Ballet Theatre. Joseph holds a Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration from New York University where he completed his graduate practicum with Emerging Pictures, the film distributor that initiated live broadcasts of The Bolshoi Ballet to cinemas across North America. As a former teacher of PUB dancer, Emily Avery '17, we were lucky enough to have him teach a few classes during our finals period as well as set a pas de deux on some of our dancers for our Spring Performance.
