Princeton University Ballet's Spring Production!

This past April 24, 25, and 26 Princeton University Ballet put on its annual Spring Production. The show included a variety of classical variations and student choreographed contemporary pieces. Above seniors Paige Hupy '14 and Sebastian Gold '14 rehearse a pas de deux from Paquita. (Photo taken by Jack Mazzulo '16.) PUB also performed a new piece by guest artist, Donna Salgado. Salgado's biography follows below. PUB has continued to push the boundaries artistically, presenting unique and innovative choreography to the Princeton community.


One of our members is a National Yoga Champion!

Emily Avery '17 took seventh in the National USA Yoga Asana Women's Championship Finals. Check out a video of her at the finals here.


Princeton Preview

Although Princeton Preview was a little shorter this year, this didn't stop the ballerinas from coming to check out PUB during the Princeton Preview Activities Fair.


Princeton University Ballet Defies Gravity

Photographer Injee Inshin '15 and Michael Glassman '15 have colloborated with PUB to produce a video that captures the elegance of ballet stripped-down and slowed down. Watch their video here.

PUB continues to get raving reviews

Over the past 6 years, PUB has establised a reputation of excellence, receiving reviews from the Daily Prince acknowleding it as a company with "the most technical dancers on campus," with "high-caliber production[s]," and with dancers who exude "finesse, grace, and power." PUB's 2014 Spring Performance Guest Artist

This year PUB's annual Spring performance featured a piece by guest choreographer, Donna Salgado. Salgado is the artistic director of CONTINUUM Contemporary/Ballet, a New York City based dance company comprised of classically-trained dancers with contemporary artistic voices. Mentioned as a "Notable Choreographer" by New York Times blog, the Local East Village, Salgado's work has been presented by the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, 92nd Street Y, Dance NOW, Lation Choreographers Festival, and the CURRENT SESSIONS.
