Nothing But Clear Skies

Spotlight

Cutting Carbon and Costs
There has been a lot of focus lately on the growing number of jurisdictions that have put a price on carbon. But lost in the discussion is the range of costs from different measures that reduce a metric ton of CO2. I’m not talking about the overall impact on the economy. Instead, the question is what actions deliver the biggest bang for the buck?

Feature

Carbon Pricing and Carbon Damage
What damage are we causing with each new emission of carbon pollution? Economists regularly assess the economic impact of each marginal GHG emission, which is labeled the “social cost of carbon." To industry leaders it's clear: we are ready for more ambitious reduction requirements.
