Regardless of whether or not you choose to stay at the Trunk Hotel, chances are if you're hanging with someone familiar with the city you'll find yourself here for a drink or an espresso. I've been coming here on recent trips for early morning breakfast/work sessions in the lobby bar. The vibe is similar to what you'd find at a Soho House in London or New York and it fills up quickly during the week with freelancing creatives. Great people watching. Rooms here aren't exactly cheap but they're creative, authentic, and a perfect choice for groups traveling together. Pictured above is one of their four beds loft options. The location is unbeatable, just a few blocks outside of Shibuya crossing which makes it easy to quickly move around the city. A well-equipped sushi bar and full restaurant are on-site and you can expect a late-night DJ spinning funk, soul, and Beach Boys records in the lobby on weekends. Learn more below.
