Flash Fun Q:  Who was John the Baptist's father?
Vol. 53 | 3-22-17

Still amazed at how a cloudy vision made a passage so clear.

As I stared at the sky during this week's TTFG, Deuteronomy 31:8 finally clicked.

Like the sun still rising though obscured by clouds, God will never leave us or forsake us; He is still present during the storms of life.

Not sure why the epiphany right then, but as a ray pierced the blanket of grey, a favorite Grateful Dead lyric came to mind...

"Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right."

Gratefully yours,

Chapel Hill Road (White Rock Lake)
Lately it occurs to me how many times I get shown the light when I take time to honor God and quiet myself enough to listen. (What is TTFG?)

Thinking about a friend led me to this illustrated explanation about Paul's first letter to one of his trusted companions and co-workers.
