Flash Fun Q:  How often was the Year of Jubilee observed in the Bible?
Today is my Mom's birthday, and at some point I'll call to tell her I love her. (Spoiler alert if you're a subscriber, Mom!)

Why do I wait until special occasions to make this effort? And why do we wait until funerals to heap praises on someone?

Ephesians 4:29 says to let your words be an encouragement to those who hear them. What if we decided to make it a habit to tell people how much they mean to us without an occasion?

Would you be willing to call someone today just to give them a specific compliment? You might be surprised by the impact it has on them. And you.

Your words may be exactly what that person needs to hear.

Let me know how it goes.

Happy Birthday, Mom.

TTFG Spot of the Week
Lakewood Country Club
Just prior to hosting a Flashlight Circles breakfast last Friday, I was mesmerized by the movement in the sky. Watch the clouds and the flag flapping in the wind, and you might find your mind drifting as well. In a good way. (What is TTFG?)
