“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?”
- Bob Hope (1903 - 2003)
Tis the season to be Healthy and Jolly!
As a wise man said to me “better to grow old than not at all”, my father has always lived his life to the fullest and Christmas is often a time we love to do that. I have a few rules to keep me in check for the indulgences over Christmas and the New Year…..and that is to EXERCISE!!! Daily exercise, it’s the perfect way to start the day and keep the weight at bay!
It’s no secret, it is tried and true! You get out of life what you put into it! It’s amazing how good it feels to burn those excess calories; the guilt just melts away because you have actually done something.
Once the celebrations are over why not consider a detox or our easy MNMC Fat loss program. Summer is the perfect season, as you naturally desire light food such as salads, fruit and protein.
We have just launched our Fat loss program ready to help you meet those New Year resolutions, click here

You Can't Catch Me, I'm The Gingerbread Man...
Finding tasty, healthy, gluten-free treats is always challenging, particularly at Christmas time!
Having replaced the white flour with ground almonds, this gingerbread has a wonderful flavour and is slightly softer in texture than traditional versions. Almonds also increase the nutrient profile so each cookie is full of protein as well as being lower in refined sugar!
To make them healthier for the heart, the butter has been replaced by cold pressed olive oil (which also
acts as an anti-inflammatory). A combination of honey and molasses, with fresh soft pitted dates sweetens the cookie dough and
adds a wonderful depth and richness to the gingerbread.
*Keep in mind that this gluten-free mixture is only suitable for making cookies, not houses.
